You have been assigned the role of a founding father. You may choose from the following list:

You must investigate why you do or do not support the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.
What kind of representation do you want? More states rights, or more rights for the federal government?
Think of the the compromises suggested....New Jersey, Virginia, Connecticut, Trade, the 3/5 compromise and slave trade.
At the conclusion of the WebQuest, there will be a "Constitutional Convention" in class - and you must debate your side! You will also discuss what "you" think about the issues and compromises mentioned. You may want to use the following questions to guide your "biography" :
1. What's your name?
2. Are you a federalist or anti-federalist?
3. What state are you from?
4. What kind of representation does your state want?
5. What kind would give your state the most power?
6. Will counting slaves help your state?
7. Explain the 3/5 compromise, Virginia Plan, Connecticut Plan and the New Jersey Plan.
8. Explain the issues over trade and the Slave trade.
9. Why do you feel the way you do about the Constitution?
